Congratulations
to Huntsville Senior Kenzie Broome who was named MVP for the North
All-Stars after they downed the South All-Stars in 3 straight set at
UAH.

Kelly Cobb signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball with
the University of West Alabama. We wish Kelly all the success at the
next level!
2010 Volleyball Fundraisers
Let the season begin! Help support the Huntsville High
School Volleyball Team with its fundraisers for the season! Fundraising
opportunities include a Mother's Day BBQ sale, a Father's Day BBQ sale,
program advertisements, and corporate sponsorships. Contact an HHS
Volleyball Player to order BBQ or purchase an ad or sponsorship. The
HHS Volleyball Team and its 7-year State Championship winning coach,
Melanie Donahoo, will also conduct its popular Skills Clinic for girls
ages 8 to 13. The Skills Clinic is scheduled for July 7-10. You can
print out a registration form at the Fundraisers tab to the right of

2010 Schedule
Check out the updated schedule for the 2010 season
posted to the right at the 2010 Schedule tab. As always, stay tuned for
any changes/revisions as the season progresses! (April 15, 2010)
Season Dates of Note
Players/Parents -- Mandatory practices (specified by
AHSAA) begin on July 29. All players will be expected at practices as
of that date. The first contest date specified by AHSAA will be August
19. The annual opening day 'tri-match' between Huntsville, Grissom, and
Bob Jones will be hosted by Huntsville High this year. We are looking
forward to another great opening day event!
Two Panthers to Play as Tigers in 2010
Congratulations to Kelly Cobb and Chelsea Wintzinger on
continuing their volleyball careers at the collegiate level in 2010.
Kelly Cobb will be signing with the University of West Alabama (Tigers)
in April. Chelsea Wintzinger has committed to play for the Auburn
University Tigers!
