Coach Allyson Murphreeis a 2004 graduate of Huntsville High School, where she played on both the varsity volleyball team and the varsity softball team. She was a member of the 2002 and 2003 State Championship volleyball teams, as well as a member of the State Runner-up softball team in 2001. During her fours years on the varsity volleyball team, she served as a defensive specialist and setter. On the softball field, she started at shortstop and was selected to the All-City and All-State teams in 2003 and 2004.

After graduating from Huntsville High School, Ally attended Auburn University, where she received a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology. She also met her husband, Dr. Todd Murphree while at Auburn. In addition to coaching, Ally works as a personal trainer for the YMCA of Huntsville.

Ally is excited to be returning to the volleyball program at HHS and looks forward to a great season!
