2006-2007 All-State Academic Team (Athletes)
The Birmingham News annually salutes combined excellence in athletics and academics as well as school and community leadership. The News selects the All-State Academic Team based on information supplied by schools for the 2006-07 school year. To be selected for the All-State Academic team, student-athletes must have been a junior or senior, must have maintained at least a 3.7 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale for their entire high school career - the same standard as the past six years - and must have played an integral role on an athletic team. The HHS Lady Panther Volleyball Team proudly had six members selected for the 2006-2007 All-State Academic Team:
